About

Isadora Petrauskas is an Associate Professor, artist, and researcher working at the intersection of culture, contemporary art, and technology. Her multidisciplinary practice spans performance, installation, and immersive media, with a focus on sensory experience, digital materiality, and alternative ways of knowing. She currently teaches at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), China.

Petrauskas is the author of Estados para a Tensão: Compêndio de Resistências sobre o Aqui e Agora (States for a Tension: Compendium of Resistances for Here and Now), published by Annablume in 2025.

She is co-founder of the Brazilian theatre collective Teatro Voador Não Identificado (TVNI) and creator of the VR installation Tongue-Tied. Her work has been presented at Ars Electronica, the Prague Quadrennial, and Paradigm Electronic Arts Festival, and featured in UK, Brazilian, and Chinese press.
