Interwoven Existence

Interwoven Existence is a multi-sensory installation exploring the entanglement of human and nonhuman worlds. Featuring reeds sourced from Tai Lake (Suzhou), responsive light and motion elements, a four-channel soundscape, and immersive VR works, the exhibition invites visitors into a shifting environment where nature is alive, agentic, and interconnected.

Created in collaboration with Andrew O’Dowd, Zhonghao Chen, Juan Carlos Vasquez, and Giovanni Santini, the work draws on aesthetic theory and Shanshui traditions to reframe our relationship with more-than-human life. Exhibited in Nanjing, Suzhou, and Ars Electronica.

Exhibited in Nanjing Zijin Award (2024), Hanshan Museum (2024) and Ars Electronica (2024)
