O Sol e as Rãs

O Sol e as Rãs is a performance that follows the artist’s attempt to experience Lisbon as a tourist after taking a sleeping tablet. Inspired by the Aesop fable of the same name, the work explores resistance not through confrontation, but through vulnerability, slowness, and the refusal to perform in expected ways. Set against the backdrop of crowded tourist landmarks, the performance unfolds as a quiet dissonance between body and environment, presence and perception.

Exhibited at Reitoria (Porto, 2019), Ugly Duck Gallery (London, 2020), and FBAUP Museum (Porto, 2021).
