Tongue-Tied is a VR and AR installation developed in collaboration with ATE XJTLU students as part of ongoing research into technology, language, and power. It explores how digital tools shape communication and reinforce imperialist linguistic structures. In conversation with Interwoven Existence, the work questions narratives of modernization and the objectification of nature, while pushing further to examine how technology entangles the ‘natural tongue’ in systems of cultural hegemony.
